Fetcher Dog's 'Canine Care and Support Programme' - Sponsoring a Bosnian Dog's Journey
I am always being asked by individuals and businesses ‘ How can we help Fetcher Dog?’ and there are many ways to support us by donating your time, donating money, donating resources or donating your expertise.
Sponsoring a dog is a very simple way to directly support the dogs.
We have between 30-40 dogs, at any one time under our care and support in Bosnia, the operational costs are approx £30000 per year. Plus each dog requires medical attention and vaccinations etc and the transport costs to get them from Bosnia to the UK.
Costs associated with Bosnia Dogs
Monthly Accommodation x 6 = £420
Worming treatment x 5 = £50
Flea treatment x10 = £122.50
Leptospirosis and DHPP vaccines x 2 = £20
Rabies vaccine x 1 = £10
Microchipping and registration = £20
Pet Passport = £10
Spay/Neuter = £50
Transport and transport preparation
Internal transport to vet station = £63
Vet inspection, quarantine and paperwork for import = £150
Transport from Bosnia to UK = £235
Import Fee = £8
Total = £1200
To sponsor a Bosnian dog for one year, we have calculated, would cost approx £100 per month or £1200 per Year.
In acknowledgement of this kind and generous offer we will:
- Recognise your company on a designated page on the Fetcher dog website
- Have a wooden sign made, to be attached to the kennel, recognising your company and your contribution to the operational costs of the rescue centre
- Receive a framed certificate, (after 4 months) acknowledging your sponsorship, that you can display at your company (see below)
- Mention your company on our social media channels (If you wish)
- We and the dogs will be very grateful for your support

The aim is to find 30 companies to sponsor 30 of our dogs that are currently in Bosnia
