Chopper was rescued with his brother, Chance from his life on the streets of Bosnia when they were tiny puppies. They were both very scared and filled with worms and covered in fleas. They were treated and cared for by our rescuer until they were strong and healthy pups! Chopper was living in a home for almost one year before being returned to us. He had become fearful of one of the family members and wasn't comfortable in the home any longer. Since then, Chopper has been in foster and has made excellent progress with his fear.
Chopper can shy with new people but due to his time in foster, he is happy to say hello to almost everyone and enjoys meeting new people. He is a very cuddly and affectionate boy and loves to cuddle and snooze on the sofa. He LOVES other dogs and gets a lot of confidence from being around them.
Chopper has been wonderful in his foster home and is crate trained. He is also house trained and is very chilled out and calm in the house. Chopper has also been wonderful with all children he has met. He knows some basic commands like sit, paw, down, stay, up and come.
Even though Chopper has had some training, please expect to do full training upon adoption.
