Rocky

Rocky was rescued after being surrendered to the dog warden by his previous owner. He was living with an elderly man who couldn't cope with his size and strength which meant that Rocky was rarely going out for walks. He lived with a large female dog and a free flying macaw who would frequently land on Rocky's back. Rocky is now waiting for a forever home of his own from our rescue centre in Kent. 

Rocky is a sweet boy. He is very friendly with new people and is happy and bouncy when he gets to know you when he is in an environment he is comfortable in but can be reactive to new people when out and about on the lead.  He is strong on the lead so would need additional lead training and a strong adopter. His reactivity would mean that he would be more comfortable living in a quieter area so he can grow in confidence and get the training he needs whilst in a quieter area. Rocky previously lived with another dog and has been submissive with the other dogs he has met at the rescue centre. We do not know how much training Rocky received in his previous home so please expect to do full training upon adoption.
